No entry fee to shop, so bring friends!

Bring or mail your items (gently-used Halloween costumes, dress-up clothes, dancewear, shoes, accessories, fabric) to CDF, and you will receive a receipt for your donation and a pass to shop early on Sept. 21st. Not sure about an item? Ask us if we will accept it, 205-870-0073.

CDF Severe Weather Closing Policy: CDF follows the Homewood City Schools if they close or dismiss early due to severe weather. If the news reports that they are closed due to the weather, CDF will be closed as well.

Please note: CDF does not follow the school calendar for holiday closings. We close only for several days at Thanksgiving, two weeks in December, one week for spring break, and one week for Independence Day.

Certain restaurants, attractions, events and arts venues are being called the best in the city, and Children's Dance Foundation is one of them!

During a four-month-long campaign, more than 4,000 Birmingham residents nominated their favorite spots in the city, and those places with the most nominations were compiled in an 89-page, pocket-sized "IN Birmingham" guide.

The books, $9.99, are available at Books-A-Million, Alabama Booksmith, The Convention Bureau and Birmingham Chamber.
